New Dollar for Mile Challenge!
Blaze Rider's Dollar for Mile Challenge benefiting Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and The San Francisco SPCA is scheduled for July 2008.  The challenge path will start at The San Francisco SPCA and ride to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and back. A total of over 800 miles! 100% of the funds raised during this Blaze Rider Dollar for Mile Challenge will go to benefit these two organizations.

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles’s mission is to make a world of difference in the lives of children, adolescents and their families by integrating medical care, education and research to provide the highest quality care and service.  The Hospital is known for advancing research and providing definitive diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents with complex diseases. It is the largest regional referral center serving more than 62,000 children a year in the Emergency Department alone. While most of the children admitted to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles come from Los Angeles County, others come from seven county areas near Los Angeles. The mission of The San Francisco SPCA is to save and protect animals, to provide care and treatment, to advocate for their welfare, and to enhance the human-animal bond. Founded in 1868, The SF/SPCA is a national leader in saving lives and raising the status of companion animals. Its innovative programs and services include: Maddie's Pet Adoption Center; Community Veterinary Services, including the SF/SPCA Animal Hospital and Spay/Neuter Clinic; Humane Education; public Dog Training classes; Feral Cat Assistance Program; and Animal Assisted Therapy.
